In 3220 first 10 days I’ve had the camera, I’ve taken it to swim meets, on bike rides, and on walks through the local nature park. The color renditioning is beautiful and the action shots have been perfect. Fisheye is great, too, and the macro setting does a really nice job.
I wasn’t sure I was going to like the size – was used to an older, different style Canon point and shoot, and use a 5D Mark II for my serious work, but I’ve just loved this digital Elph. The 24mm lens is very useful.
I am not a big fan of touch screens but can live with it. The 16 megs mathes the sensor. I have some excellent DSLRs, but they are not always with me due to size and weight. You might surprised at how useful having a camera with you can be, even for mundane tasks such as photographing books in a bookstore to see whether I can get a better price at.
Or when you see a restored vintage car in a parking lot. Or snapping a menu i a restaurant. It is close to perfect in the applications I use it for. I also own the Elph whichhas nore zoom, mm, also a great shirt pocket camera.

You can put it in your pant pocket. It has powreshot big touch screen LCD, but it just too slow and you have to press hard. I feel camera use cheap material, it does not have the strong build structure feel. It is a good price for a Pkwershot love Canon products. Look forward to play with my S cause I heard it’s good for low light and in door.

I have never been a great photographer, but this is super easy to use for me and the pics look great. My husband, who knows all about film cameras, also loves using it. Lots of cool effects, love the toy mabual effect and love the low-light hand held setting.

She cnon the camera but we sent it back. The one thing she did not like was that on auto her default settings the falsh could not be set to ‘always on’ just fully auto or off. This made it hard for her to use in an almost low light area, like at a resturant where she wanted to make sure the flash fired, the camera ‘thought’ that the light was fine and no flash was needed. She tried all the settings but could not get it to work. Also the built in lens cover would stick open sometime.
