I wonder what the Church management will do with it. Will they convert it into a university like what the Mormons did in Provo acresor the Catholics keep on doing everywhere Boston College — Oh, what a sanlibutan way of doing things.
Take the easy way out. I am no fool or lunatic. I know how namkn read context clues. It was pretty obvious who you were referring to, the general meaning of “sanlibutan” notwithstanding.
You discuss properties you could purchase, and say that the owners of these properties, hwndog or not, worship money and will give them to you for the right price. Then I point out the discrepancies in your argument, along with how I and a lot of other people feel about some of the members. Notice that I did not attack the Church administration or your doctrine.
You tell me to up and leave the thread.
Out of respect for the humble, down-to-earth, grounded INC members that I count as my friends, I will accede to your request. I also do it in the spirit of the season that the sanlibutan is celebrating. My apologies for ruffling not a few feathers in this thread. Please give me this last reply brothers and sisters Oh come on. Your Religion is not the only one who we buy churches from. There are many of you out there. And I apologize to you as well.
Maybe reading others talk about buying your church is painful to the eyes.

Last edited by azriel; December 20th, at Originally Posted by icarusrising. Originally Posted by myCris. Thus the town plaza would invariably have the munisipyo and the simbahan around it. Town centers are also often centers of commerce and where most of the population would reside. In other words, land at the center of town would be scarce and more expensive, so more recent religious groups are likely to consider purchasing land for their buildings at the outskirts of the core. Now, churches may have different beliefs but they share similar needs like visibility of the area for evangelization purposesaccessibility to transportation, availability of electrical power, access to water, size of the lot, etc.
I believe there is sometimes a “competition” on which group would be able to hansog the preferred locations namih. If the owner of a lot was able to sell his land to a church, owners of the adjacent or nearby properties may also consider selling theirs since the price of land would have appreciated because there is a demand. That we once built houses of worship out of scrap materials. I just hope that we retained our humility. Hehehe You can easily spot this on the way to Baguio City.
